Remember that handling refrigerant requires specialist equipment and certification. Refilling, recovery and leak tests should be performed by workshops with the appropriate qualifications.

  • After the repair the workshop will check AC operation at idle and while driving, working pressures and compressor stability.
  • If contamination of the condenser was the cause, performance will improve both at standstill and in motion.
  • If a leak is found, the system must be sealed and the refrigerant properly recharged.
